About the role
An exciting opportunity to join the Finance Shared Service team as Finance Master Data Manager. The role will have overall control over the finance master data processes, including price, product, vendor, customer and general ledger data, ensuring accuracy in the data that links to customer experience and business performance.
Leading a team you'll ensure your colleagues provide an effective and efficient service in accordance with agreed quality and performance measures through great leadership which supports the provision of a world class standard transactional operation.
Ensuring the strategic objectives for the finance master data team are aligned to those of Finance Shared Services and the broader Society, you'll be responsible for maintaining best in class processes and systems, delivering within allocated budget and resource allocation. Regular communication with key internal customers on important issues impacting finance master data and wider processes will be important to the success of this role.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing finance master data with a sound understanding of data processes and systems, particularly with regards to price and product. With a passion for continuous improvement you'll be able to demonstrate where you've made changes to processes showing a commercial focus in how your influence stakeholders to adapt to new ways of working.
A successful leader you'll know how to best motivate your teams to deliver against agreed KPIs/SLA's especially within changing environments.The ability to work with pace and urgency in a demanding working environment is also required in this role as is the ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail.
