Job Description

About the role

We are looking to create a temporary L&D Retail Transformation Team to support the Transformation programmes currently underway in the Society. In this role, you'll support the implementation of various Retail Transformation initiatives, including the soon to be launched Our Time System. Working as part of the Retail Transformation Team these roles will be pivotal in equipping colleagues with the knowledge and skills required to move our Society forward.

You'll be involved in every stage of the training roll out - including the design, administration, scheduling, delivery and evaluation of all learning interventions.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Use your current knowledge of learning and development to help shape fit for purpose learning solutions
  • Be part of a high profile project team
  • Practice and enhance your great communication and influencing skills

About you

You'll be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience of designing and delivering learning and development in a blended style
  • Evidence of inspiring and coaching others to achieve success
  • A passion for developing others with examples of how you've done this
  • A dynamic and driven approach to achieving results, through great planning and organising
  • Strong people leadership, stakeholder management, communication and engagement skills to inspire and get the best out of others
  • The ability to work alone or as part of a team with a great approach to problem solving
  • A positive and proactive approach to any situation with great customer focus
  • The ability to understand systems and processes easily

Candidates already working for the Society may not have the full L&D experience but must be able to demonstrate and evidence examples of inspiring and coaching others to success.

A significant degree of travel across our estate is also required therefore you must be in possession of a full driving licence and own vehicle (expenses will be paid).
