As a Customer Services Assistant within our Cafe department you will provide an essential part of the Cafe's frontline customer service, including the highest standards of customer care including the promotion of Co-op Values and Membership through understanding member benefits and Society activities.
The main duties include assisting with the preparation, presentation and service of food beverages whilst maintaining the level of hygiene required by the Society, including table clearing and dishwashing duties. You will provide a friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service to customers and colleagues, demonstrating high standards/awareness of health and safety, personal appearance and operating standards. You will also undertake duties focusing on a specific section or other operational activities across the whole cafe but ultimately you will be part of a multi skilled team and will receive training in a number of activities to support colleagues.
A polite, helpful attitude is required as well as a flexible approach to working hours. We will provide training and development to help you thrive in this essential role.
