Central England Co-operative, one of the largest and most successful independent co-operatives in the UK, are currently recruiting of a Continuous Improvement Analyst to work closely with business stakeholders to manage process improvement projects and support the development of a culture of continuous improvement across the business.

As part of this role, supporting the business through transformational change, you will: Support our Retail Business Transformation programme covering our core retail systems supporting the supply chain fulfilment and replenishment processes as well as store range and space planning and inventory management. Managing this portfolio of process improvement projects and ensure delivery while achieving improvement targets.

Support greater efficiency and improved customer experience through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity in business processes and identify better ways of working.

Support business stakeholders in the development of business cases, identifying both indicative costs and capturing statements of tangible benefits from business colleagues.

Identify and analyse key areas for improvement through leading workshops, process and data analysis and understanding of business process descriptions and employee experience. Translating business requirements into process maps and specifications.

Be accountable for ensuring transformation is embedded and adopted across the business to ensure that benefits are achieved and sustained.

Ensure end to end business and data processes are created and kept up to date, identifying & clarifying the process and data ownership and stewardship with appropriate governance and controls in place.

Be instrumental in being a change advocate, assisting business users along the continuous improvement journey.

About you

We are looking for a self motivated and flexible individual to deal with changing demands in a fast paced environment. You will have experience in a similar role, utilising process improvement methodology, problem solving and handing multiple projects at one time.

To be successful in this role you will need:

2-5 years experience of delivering business process improvements and leading projects with a record of successful implementation.

A proven understanding of CI methodologies (Lean/Six sigma or equivalent qualified (green belt minimum))

Proficient project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, be able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and changing demands

Strong background in change process management with experience of supply chain and retail processes.

Excellent stakeholder and communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to differing situations

Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems by carrying out root cause analysis and identify trends to make recommendations for improvement.
