Central England Co-operative, one of the largest and most successful independent co-operatives in the UK, are currently recruiting of a Data Migration Manager to support our Retail Business Transformation programme covering our core retail systems supporting the supply chain fulfilment and replenishment processes as well as store range and space planning and inventory management.
We are on an ambitious journey to modernise our retail core systems using the latest cutting-edge technology. We are in the process of migrating our current systems to a platform based around SAP and JDA (BlueYonder).
The Data Migration Manager will ensure that the Society has best practice, high quality data in place to support the implementation of Retail business transformation programme and create strategy, policies, maps, controls and procedures to ensure this is maintained going forwards.
The role will be responsible for the collation, verification, and mapping of all master data sets in line with supply chain requirements, to enable initial migration / set up in the system and the necessary integration with peripheral systems.
They will also work with the business stakeholders to ensure that new processes and controls are embedded into both the appropriate Data teams.
The individual must have a track record of migrating data in projects, a good understanding of supply chain, space and range planning master data mapping, continuous improvement principles, and integration across processes, people and technology.
The ability to drive the team forward in their data preparation and migration will be important to the whole programme, and your work will support with robust, scalable pipelines and data flows.
Influence and contribute towards the next stage of our data strategy, contribution to the Data migration team.
Create a learning culture by coaching and mentoring your team to make sound technical decisions and build effective engineering practices.
We are looking for a self motivated and flexible individual to deal with changing demands in a fast paced environment. You will have experience in a similar role, utilising process improvement methodology, problem solving and handing multiple projects at one time.
A track record and at least 2-5 years experience of managing data migration teams and processes, leading projects with a record of successful implementation.
Excellent leadership skills, with experience of developing and mentoring a data migration function.
A good understanding of supply chain and retail master data, continuously improving processes and integration across processes, people and technology.
Excellent stakeholder and communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to differing situations.
Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment alongside evolving the data solutions and practices.
