As a Learning and Development Facilitator within HR Shared Service you will deliver brain friendly learning activities in line with Society strategy, objectives and values to drive the development of leadership behaviours and equip colleagues with the knowledge and skills to carry out work related tasks.
You will be facilitating Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives including virtual activities, face to face events, online learning activities and business work requests to support colleagues across our trading estate, covering a wide range of subjects relevant to our key trading businesses of retail and funeral.
You will have an understanding of brain friendly learning principles to support our diverse approach. You will also have an understanding of online learning techniques and will be involved in the creation of online learning packages.
You will build key relationships with business stakeholders and HR administrators to ensure day to day queries, event scheduling, event administration and logistics are fully planned and implemented. You will also assist with sourcing and appointing external learning providers, ensuring that quality, safety and costs are consistent and fair.
You will take responsibility for continuing compliance with any legal, regulatory and industry body codes of practice and review all learning materials on an on-going basis to develop the core L&D offering to meet current and future business, team and individual needs ensuring that they are aligned with business strategy, brand and objectives.
You will keep your knowledge of current and emerging developments in learning design and delivery up to date to assist in the provision of leading edge learning solutions. You will evaluate learning content and methods of delivery and recommend improvement strategies based on your findings.
You will ideally have a CIPD Certificate in Learning & Development (or relevant qualification) and will be used to working within a customer focused environment. Some travel to learning venues across our trading estate may be required.
