We are currently recruiting for an RPA Analyst to work with business stakeholders to identify and evaluate opportunities for process automation and support the creation of the RPA road map.
The successful candidate will provide operational management optimisation of robotic process performance, identify risks and potential benefits that are relevant for a successful automation initiative and act as a gatekeeper for the RPA pipeline. They will also document and complete process design in line with agreed timescales. The RPA analyst will be a central point of knowledge and control to answer any queries during the development and testing of automated solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities of the role:
Collaborate with business stakeholders and SME's on process automation opportunity identification and outcome expectations, defining and documenting use cases for RPA, taking into account process complexity, input type, logic and rules
Creation and orchestration of the process suitability assessment road map across the Society
Creation and maintenance of RPA road map with effective prioritisation of processes for automation (highest positive impact, business benefit and/or return on investment)
Facilitation of workshops and process walk-through sessions with SME's and colleagues performing the process
Accurate completion of essential documentation to be used for process automation in line with automation lifecycle (key stroke level mapping, use cases, functional specifications, process design document, process definitions and process maps)
Work closely with RPA Developers so that they understand the process and assist with the creation of their solution design, ensuring they deliver a solution that meets the business requirements
Act as the go between operational teams and RPA technical teams to support the accurate and effective delivery of process automation
Co-ordinating test phases, process releases and hyper-care phases of process automation evaluating the impact of the suggested changes
Build strong relationships with IT stakeholders and ensure scheduled system updates and upgrades are known and applicable automated processes are reviewed, and regression tested
Benefit realisation reporting ensuring business requirements met and proposed return on investment is achieved / escalation where deviation from expected outcomes
Operational management of Bot performance via control room tools
Support operational teams during user acceptance testing and roll-out phases
Identify and recommend areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
Conduct research on emerging RPA approaches and technologies to ensure solutions recommended are in line with market trends and are best in class
Support cascading the understanding of the skills and services provided by the CofE capability through product demonstrations, operating model presentations and demand generation workshops
Continued development of the knowledge of the latest trends and insight on leading RPA tools and practices
Your skills and experience:
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is essential
Knowledge of RPA best practice solutions and tools
Knowledge of Shared Services functions and how they operate
Good knowledge in Continuous Improvement methodologies
Attention to detail and a demonstrated capability for problem solving and creating and enhancing business processes
Experienced in the creation of process mapping, analysis, design and implementation
Good inter-personal, facilitation and communication skills
Good analytical skills with the ability to demonstrate clear, logical thinking
The ability to be curious and ask questions to gain a deep understanding of the business requirements
Communicating with subject matter experts, business process owners and developers
Gaining correct understanding of processes through appropriate questioning techniques
Hands on experience in Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
Creation of business process map and technical requirement proposal documents
System(s) testing and documentation, including UAT and bug fixes
Desired but not essential:
Blue Prism Analyst qualification
Hands on experience with RPA tools
