Job Description

About the role

Reporting into the Software Engineering Manager, you will enjoy a varied and exciting role as a software engineer. You will be responsible for the development of in-house applications, integrations of third-party applications, continuous improvement activities. You will also be assigned to projects as part of the IT & Digital workstreams.

You will

Build and develop IT solutions that meet business requirements.

Deliver all development activity in lines with agreed plans and timescales.

Represent the software engineering team in project meetings providing updates and raising risks where appropriate.

Be an advocate for the IT & Digital function in the move to agile ways of working.

About you

Experience of delivering developments in both an Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Able to build and develop against defined coding standards

Experience of compliance to ITIL processes; such as change management

Delivery developments on time and to a high standard

Create technical specifications

Will foster great relations across the IT & Digital functions to share knowledge
