About the role
A fantastic opportunity to join the IT & Digital team in a newly created position as an IT Delivery Manger. Reporting into the Head of IT Delivery, you will be aligned to one of the key functions within the Society: Trading, Corporate or IT and will act as the link between IT & Digital and your assigned function.
Be working with business leaders to understand and create a clear roadmap for planned activity made up of: business as usual plan, in-flight project and pipeline demand.
Agree appropriate resource for delivery and scheduling of project with the Business Change function.
Lead a team comprising of IT Project Managers, IT Product Analysts and IT Test Analysts this will be a mixture of permanent colleagues and temporary resource when demand increases to deliver projects.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate, influence and work collaboratively with senior colleagues
Experience of delivering projects in both an Agile and Waterfall methodology
Good leader to your direct team through coaching and regular catch-up sessions. Providing a supportive environment for them to flourish
Be able to plan and anticipate the business needs highlighting risks where appropriate to existing plans
Proven ability to lead senior meetings and present back to the leadership teams
Experience of managing external stakeholders to get the best value from the relationshipApply Now
