About the role

A fantastic opportunity to join the IT team in a newly created position as a Service Assurance Lead, managing a team covering multiple ITIL principles.

You will

Maintain a robust controlled environment through the management of several ITIL Principles, covering Access & Knowledge, Asset & Configuration, Change & Release and Problem Management, Service in Design and Service Transition.

Ensure that service disruption is minimised through effective assurance controls covering both the live environments and by working with our Delivery team to ensure that new services are efficiently delivered into live.

Responsible for ensuring a controlled and managed environment is achieved with a focus on protecting the BAU environment and reducing incidents through effective Problem Management.

About you

You will be an ITIL Practitioner with extensive knowledge and working practice of ITIL Principles.

Demonstrate strong leadership skills

Have managed multiple disciplines under one structure umbrella.

Be able to protect the BAU Environment and be comfortable challenging at all levels.

You'll be able to demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge information and processes effectively.

Having a desire for continuous improvement, you'll be able to demonstrate where you've improved processes, using your own initiative in a resilient manner to achieve challenging deadlines.

Familiar with being audited by internal and external parties to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures have been maintained.

Good Excel skills (intermediate level) coupled with experience in manipulating large quantities of data is also needed in this role.
