About the role
A fantastic opportunity to join the IT team as an IT Asset and Configuration Analyst. Working in our Service Assurance function, you will ensure that the society IT assets are appropriately assigned, tracked and decommissioned throughout their lifecycle and ensures that records are maintained for audit purposes.
This role will work closely with other colleagues in the Service Assurance team and wider IT team to ensure that data is accurately maintained, inputting into the various internal and external audits.
Ensure IT assets are be removed from the live environment when they are end of life and no longer supportable.
Enable assets to be available through the support loop and manage the warranty returns process, as well as ensuring stock levels are appropriate for each asset type.
Ensure that asset registers covering the society IP register, VPN, Mobile, Network and Telecoms assets are all maintained and that the maintenance of these records causes no service outages.
Maintain our configuration records and build on this data to become more comprehensive.
A strong ability to manage assets and configuration as part of an ITIL principle environment
Be confident working with ITIL principles ensuring that the live environment is always protected.
Able to remain calm whilst under pressure and have an ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
A self-starter and able to manage your own workload.
Communicate in a style that is relevant for the audience and remove jargon when dealingApply Now
