Applications are invited for a 2nd Line Support Analyst vacancy which will be based at our Business Support Centre, Information Solutions Department in Lichfield.

Job Information

The 2nd line Support team provide technical support to all business areas, working closely with customers and internal teams. Resolving calls to pre-scripted documents as well as troubleshooting and creating documentation for any previously unknown fixes.

Having the ability to manage a portfolio of calls by being a strong team player and being able to manage 3rd party support partners is key to maintaining a high level of service and ensuring sites and colleagues are returned back to full operation as quickly as possible.

Person specification

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and planning skills, a strong eye for detail. Previous experience in a technical support environment is desirable. You should have the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload in order to meet strict Key Performance Indicators. Also you should have the ability to comfortably communicate at all levels. Understanding our business priorities and responding appropriately will help you excel in this role, a flexible approach to working hours is required in order to support the team in delivering "Service Excellence".

You will be required to work a range of shifts between 7am and 7pm covering 5 out of 7 days a week.
