We have a fantastic opportunity for a 3rd line IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team, for 6 month placement, based at Business Support Centre in Lichfield. You will provide 3rd line support for a variety of infrastructure technologies including VMware virtualisation, EMC / IBM storage arrays, Veeam backups, Lenovo server hardware.

This is an exciting time to join a highly performing team as we embark on delivering our Infrastructure Strategy; our team cover core business hours although you will need a flexible approach to working hours as you will be required to support out of hours upgrades/updates.

You will be an accomplished support engineer already delivering 3rd Line support and able to complement our team by delivering on-going operational efficiency, specifically relating to the MS stack, and VMware technologies.

Extensive experience in the following areas is required/desirable:

  • Windows Server configuration and administration (2008R2 to 2012R2) (required) - Up to 2019 (desirable)
  • VMware ESXi / to 6.5 (required)
  • Active Directory / Group Policy administration (required)
  • Exchange 2013 administration (required) - Office 365/Exchange Online (desirable)
  • SQL Server to 2012R2 (required) - Up to 2017 (desirable)
  • PowerShell scripting (desirable)
  • Storage array administration (desirable)
  • Cloud computing platform (desirable)
