We are now looking for a talented Marketing Communications Officer who can create marketing campaigns across a variety of channels for our membership, retail, funeral, travel and corporate businesses.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will help to shape, create and deliver the annual marketing plan to achieve effective omnichannel marketing of the Society to customers, potential customers and members. Providing consistent journeys online and offline, you will lead a diverse range of projects and identify new opportunities to cross-market products and services.
This challenging role will involve thinking creatively and managing every aspect of our marketing campaigns from the delivery of engaging website content, social media, email, direct mail, point of sale, advertising campaigns to community initiatives and much more. Building strong working relationships with our print and media agencies alongside our Content & Creative, PR and insight teams, you will also have online conversations with our customers, champion our brand, provide campaign ideation along with pre and post campaign analysis. Beyond the day-to-day, you will also drive continuous improvements, achieve best value from our marketing communications budget and recommend new ways of marketing to help our business leaders increase sales.
If you are passionate about marketing and our brand, this role could be right for you. You'll need to have an impressive track record in omni-channel marketing and the expertise to manage marketing projects from writing briefs to implementation. With a marketing qualification and good understanding of marketing gained in a multi-site environment, you should also have knowledge of digital and print content engagement. An excellent communicator willing to attend relevant meetings, events and trade forums, you will need the drive to achieve results and the credibility to build strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
