Central England Co-Operative Careers

Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to earn whilst you learn, whatever your age or educational background. Our Apprenticeship programmes are open to enthusiastic people aged 16 or over who are keen to develop new skills and gain a nationally-recognised qualification in their chosen area. You’ll need to be contracted to work a minimum of 16 hours per week and able to work outside of normal hours on occasion.

Our Apprenticeships programmes are carried out in the workplace, so you’ll be learning ‘on the job’ and gaining hands-on experience with the one-to-one support of your Line Manager and colleagues, the Learning and Development team and an external assessor. What’s more, you’ll earn the full rate of pay for the role you’re training towards – so whether you’re a school leaver taking your first steps into the world of work, or you’re re-training towards a new career path, you’ll be rewarded from day one.

We offer Apprenticeships in:

> Retail Skills
> Floristry
> Retail Distribution
> Web Design
> Funeral services & operations
> Support Centre roles

Why are Central England Co-operative Apprenticeships different?

  • In line with our unique set of values, all of our apprentices receive a full rate of pay that is consistent with the job role they are performing
  • Age is not a barrier for those wanting to re-train via an apprenticeship
  • We operate other sector-based training schemes for new store openings. These are delivered by our training partner in conjunction with the Jobcentre Plus
